After the start-up phase, you will take full ownership of assigned equipment and processes, driving their performance and continuous improvement. Initially, you will be part of the team responsible for commissioning and ramping up the production line to achieve the required machine and process capabilities.Once the line is stabilized, you will assume the role of equipment owner, taking full responsibility for the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of assigned machines and processes.Your responsibilitiesAct as equipment owner, driving loss elimination through OEE improvement plans for assigned production machineryPlay a key role in production line launch and ramp-up, achieving targeted machine and process capabilitiesLead equipment fine-tuning, debugging, and process adjustments during commissioning and ramp-up phasesSupport scrap reduction initiatives in cooperation with the QA team to continuously improve OEEMonitor and report OEE (daily, weekly, monthly) and execute improvement actions using the PDCA cycleActively participate in Team Pulse, Area Pulse, and Weekly OEE Improvement meetingsEstablish world-class production standards, documentation, and processes with a strong focus on safety, quality, reliability, and performanceSupport implementation of tool management and workplace cleanliness policies in production areasSupport engineering and maintenance teams during installation, commissioning, start-up, FAT, and SAT of production equipmentContribute to operator training programs and create work instructions as part of continuous improvement initiativesChallenge existing work processes with the aim of optimizing headcount and improving efficiencyLead root cause analyses for failures and implement preventive actions (methods, process, equipment), documenting investigation resultsWork closely with quality, engineering, operations, maintenance, and design teamsPropose and support design changes and equipment modifications, including validationImprove equipment process documentation and standardsUse ERP and MES diagnostic data to analyze production throughput and performance, driving improvements in key KPIsPromote a zero-loss mindset and continuous improvement culture across the organizationEnsure and maintain 5S standards within the production areaSupport capital improvement projects derived from OEE improvement plansYou will also have the authority to stop production if performance abnormalities or non-conformities threaten equipment integrity, product quality, or safety.What we are looking forBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, Production Management, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environmentExperience with Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean Management, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S (IWS experience is a plus)Ability to read technical documentation, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagramsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including statistical data analysisExperience with 8D problem solving and Ishikawa diagramsUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and PFMEAKnowledge of fundamental project management methodologiesFluency in English (written and spoken)Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, cross-functional, and multinational environmentsStrong communication and collaboration skillsNice To HaveExperience in the battery industryKnowledge of PowerBI and NetsuiteSEP 1kV certificationMin. salary starts at 10 000 PLN grossWhy Work at LytenAt Lyten, you’ll be part of a team that’s redefining what’s possible in energy, materials, and manufacturing.
