Through advanced software, deep automation, breakthroughs in materials science, and modern financing strategies, Rangeview rewrites both the cost curve and the power structure of making metal parts.Job SummaryAs a Production Engineer, you will take ownership of Rangeview's production processes and turn legacy manufacturing practices on their head in order to create one of the most advanced aerospace foundries in the world. You will dive into operations on the floor in order to develop, qualify, and implement automation solutions that enable Rangeview's vision of a modern manufacturing company. A successful candidate for this role will demonstrate determination, integrity, intellectual curiosity, collaboration, creativity, and comfort challenging the status quo.This position's internal job code is Production Engineer. We are currently hiring for Levels 1, 2, and 3IC.ResponsibilitiesReview designs for producibility, leading and executing tasks to transition hardware from low-rate initial production to volume productionResearch, design, modify, and test production methods and equipment based on a deep understanding of hardware and software requirementsImprove production efficiency and effectiveness by analyzing and planning workflows, optimizing space utilization, and maximizing equipment throughput without compromising qualityEnsure hardware and process quality by establishing standards, designing testing methods, and implementing rate production validation processesInform production strategy by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing process information and trends in order to propose solutions for achieving future throughput/cost targetsSupport equipment uptime and technician utilization in order to ensure conforming hardware is delivered on scheduleMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (ABET accreditation required)1+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or test engineering in aerospace, automotive, or commercial industriesStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate with all levels of an organizationExperience aggregating and analyzing technical data to make objective, informed decisionsCompetent with CAD softwarePreferred Skills/Experience3+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or test engineering in aerospace, automotive, or commercial industriesExperience in the investment casting industryIntermediate CAD modeling capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to scale production throughputFamiliarity with WMS, MES, and ERP systemsExperience qualifying, operating, and maintaining industrial equipmentAdditional RequirementsMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as neededSummary Pay RangePlease note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline.
