Production Field officer / Field Operator

Responsibility :Take regular plant rounds for identification of abnormalities. Carbon, oil, steam and Air leakages.Collect field data (pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, etc.) and report abnormalities to the DCS/Shift Incharge.Support startups, shutdowns, and emergency handling as per SOPs.Communicate real-time field observations to the Shift DCS Engineer.Carry out manual adjustments of valves, dampers, and instruments as directed from the control room.Verify field equipment status during interlocks, trips, or maintenance activitiesReactor burner change due to abnormality, grade change over activities.Prepare Solutions for reactor additive and mixer additive with proper PPE’sTo monitor reactor/APH expansion during heating/coolingSilo rounds once in a shift or as and when required.Take process samples and deliver them to the laboratory as per schedule.Ensure cleanliness of process areas and maintain process discipline.Prevent contamination, leakages, and losses by adhering to operating norms.Assist maintenance teams during breakdowns, isolation, and restoration of equipment.Perform minor troubleshooting (like cleaning strainers, checking leaks, draining condensate, etc.).Ensure tools, equipment, and spares are available for timely maintenance executionStrictly follow safety standards, Permit-to-Work (PTW), and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures.Use proper PPE and ensure safe practices during normal and abnormal operations.Report unsafe acts/conditions, near misses, or equipment malfunctions immediately.Qualification:Bachelor's degree / Diploma / ITI in Chemical, Mechanical, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in process industries (preferably Carbon Black, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Refinery).Exposure to DCS-controlled operations and continuous process environment is desirable.Strong understanding of plant operations and equipment (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, bag filters, pelletizers, etc.).Problem-solving attitude with quick response in abnormal conditions.Good command of English.
