This role involves managing daily production activities across all shifts, coordinating resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.What’s in it for you?Personal growth, including training and development opportunitiesHealth Cash PlanSubsidised gym membershipDiscretionary bonusAccess to flexible pay with AslanWhat to expect?Ensure adherence to plan is aligned with Operational KPI’sMaintain and publish production KPI”sAlign wirth planning team on demonstrated capacity (aligned to KPI’s)Ensure and drive continuous improvement in Factory floor working practices keeping in mind Quality, Safety, Service, Cost, Morale.Provide coaching and mentorship to Production Supervisors to support their professional growth and foster stronger collaboration and continuity across shiftsSupport and encourage Supervisor and Team Leaders to develop process improvementsCommitment to delivering production requirements and performance targetsContinuously analyse processes, develop and present cost beneficial improvements to Senior Management.Identify, oversee, support and meet training requirements for productionCollaborate with fellow Production Manager to develop meaningful and actionable KPIs that enhance performance and inspire employee engagement.Oversee the employee appraisal process for the department- support Supervisors to deliver effective performance appraisalsControl & direct production activityControl & direct planning activity in collaboration with the Supply Chain ManagerMonitor & Maintain Overtime spendMonitor & Maintain temporary labor spend- identify labor needs in line with Production planResponsible for the closure of production NC'sIdentify RCA of batch failures and implement corrective actionAttendance & providing production updates at Management meetingsMaintain capacity model to map results and aid forecasting.Aid in the regular updating of routings for new products.Delivery of production targetsManage and drive continuous improvement project for ProductionInterviewing and Recruitment for vacanciesAddress performance/conduct issues with the support of the HR teamParticipation in visits/audits where neededReporting up to General Manager on any relevant and critical issuesWorking with other departments to improve processes and problem solveInvolvement in HR matters where neededBudget control (maintain, monitor, sign offs, trackers)Does this sound like you?Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a supervisor or managerial position within the Food Manufacturing industryProven Project management experienceExperience in designing operational / departmental KPI’s to drive performancePrevious experience in performance management / disciplinary procedure.A strong understanding of food manufacturing quality standardsA strong understanding of Health & Safety standards within a Factory environmentProficient in the use of ERP systemsProficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office packagesTeam Player who shows tenacity, creativitiy and drives for excellenct resultsPersonable, and able to build positive working relationships with people at all levelsSelf-starter- able to prioritise workload and adhere to tight deadlinesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressureInterested?
