The Production Planner / Customer Service Representative will serve as the key link between customer order and internal production and logistics at Miba Sinter USA. This role is responsible for translating customer requirements into an executable production schedule, managing order entry and customer communications, aligning material and capacity planning, and ensuring on-time, in-full delivery performance. The incumbent must operate in a high‐precision automotive manufacturing environment (sintered components) and collaborate cross-functionally to meet customer expectations and company objectives.Production Planning:Develop and maintain short-, mid- and long-term production plans aligned with customer orders, forecast releases, and plant capacity.Work with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent) to schedule work orders, release production lots, monitor status, and update routing/M­BOM as required.Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, lead times, and capacity constraints; identify potential bottlenecks and drive mitigation actionCustomer Service / Order Management:Receive and validate customer orders/releases (including blanket orders, EDI transmissions if applicable) ensuring accuracy of part numbers, quantities, delivery dates, shipping instructions and other customer requirements.Provide order confirmations and regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders; proactively communicate schedule changes, delays or shipment issues.Coordinate delivery schedules with logistics/shipping and production to meet customer commitments (OTIF – On Time In Full).Serve as the internal point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery dates, part availability, schedule changes and escalate issues as needed.,University Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred2 - 4 years experience in production planning, scheduling, or customer service in a manufacturing (preferably automotive) environment. Experience with EDI order entry and automotive customer portals.Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interperonal skills to interact with customers, operations, materials, logistics, and sales.
