Job DescriptionProduction Process Coach - Paint Shop - Based in Ford Vietnam PlantResponsibilitiesGeneral duties:Coach Safety, Quality and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized workMonitor Andon occurrences. Be the first responder as secondary supportThrough Process Confirmation, verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality partsSupport Continuous Improvement and coach problem resolution to the lowest level of the organizationCommunication and recognitionBuild Team Leader and Team Member capabilityCreate a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasksBasic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documentsOptimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficientlySupport concern resolution with cross-functional teams, including the Quality department, production, and suppliersUnderstand and consistently apply standard manufacturing operating systemsSupport Work Groups for short and long term countermeasures of all abnormalitiesValidate and bridge operational needs as required to ensure the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality partsStrategic planning and coordination of Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) activities to achieve Safety, Quality, and Productivity objectivesConfirm standards are in placeSupport issues raised by the teamsImplement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool, 6 panel, etc. in ZoneReview incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actionsDrive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivityConduct job ergonomic evaluations and deliver corrective actions as requiredAny others tasks assigned by direct Supervisor or Head of DepartmentPeople Development & Management.
