This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production flow by managing the company’s ERP system, developing and maintaining production schedules, and coordinating shop floor activities. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, material requirements, and real-time problem-solving to meet delivery targets and optimize resource utilization.Key Responsibilities1. Production SchedulingCreate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with customer orders and delivery commitments.Balance production workloads based on capacity, lead times, and priority orders.Adjust schedules proactively in response to changes in demand, equipment downtime, or material availability.2. ERP System ManagementMaintain, update, and optimize ERP system data for production, inventory, and materials management.Ensure accuracy of bills of materials (BOMs), routings, work orders, and inventory records.Generate production, inventory, and performance reports from the ERP system for management review.Train staff on ERP system usage and support troubleshooting issues.3. Shop Floor Planning & CoordinationTranslate production schedules into actionable shop floor plans, ensuring smooth material flow and resource allocation.Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and coordinate with Lead Hands to resolve bottlenecks.Communicate scheduling changes, priorities, and targets clearly to shop floor teams.Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and defects.4.
