Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the production facility runs efficiently. The Production Supervisor will support the Production Manager in delivering the business and customer requirements in full and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Team Leaders and production staff to achieve daily targets and KPIsPlan, organise and monitor daily production activitiesManage staffing levels and adjust rosters based on operational needsMonitor machine and operator performance; liaise with Maintenance where requiredRecord hourly outputs and production data issue daily production reportsCoordinate workflow with Dispatch, Distribution and In-Check to meet customer deadlinesAllocate labour effectively and ensure production lines remain coveredMonitor attendance, performance and weekly payroll accuracyEnsure training records are up to date and deliver refresher training as neededSupport HR with investigations and performance matters when requiredMaintain quality standards, audit compliance and accurate documentationPromote Health & Safety standards, ensuring safe working practices and reporting of Safety Observations and Near MissesKey SkillsExperience in a production or manufacturing environmentPrevious supervisory or team leadership experienceStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage people and performance in a fast-paced settingGood communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working with KPIs, reporting systems and basic IT tools (Excel, payroll systems)Apply TodayJoin Elis as a Production Supervisor and become part of a trusted team delivering essential services across Ireland.
