Production Supervisor

Role Purpose:The Production Supervisor (English proficiency required) is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local laws. The role focuses on driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement while supporting and developing the production team. The position reports directly to the Production Manager and involves close coordination between team members and management to achieve operational goals.Key Responsibilities:Operational & Technical: Ensure compliance with Thailand’s labor laws, company strategies, and operational goals. Apply knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) and HSE standards in all production activities. Supervise and coordinate daily production tasks including: Assembly and testing of company products. Cleaning, packing, and fault-finding/repair of products and parts. Logging work orders in the ERP system. Monitor production lines, promptly report issues, and implement corrective actions. Ensure timely delivery of products with the correct quality standards to the warehouse. Support continuous improvement by applying Lean methodologies and ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001). Maintain equipment, tools, and workplace in good condition to ensure safe and efficient operations. Provide daily/weekly production progress reports to the Production Manager.Leadership & People Management: Coordinate, delegate, and oversee team tasks to ensure output aligns with quality and time requirements. Foster effective communication between the production team and management. Lead problem-solving initiatives and support team development. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.Business & Technical Development: Continuously develop technical and digital skills, applying them in daily operations. Utilize analytical tools to solve complex problems and drive innovation. Understand and communicate key elements of AutoStore technology and business model. Strive for high standards in quality, delivery, and innovation.Culture & Collaboration: Collaborate effectively across diverse teams and leverage expertise from various areas. Act as a role model and ambassador for company values. Share knowledge and communicate clearly to align and influence stakeholders.Leadership in Change: Take ownership of commitments and drive deliverables with minimal supervision. Make well-founded, data-driven decisions and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing.HSE (Health, Safety, Environment): Enforce safety procedures, monitor compliance, and promote a strong safety culture. Ensure all operations adhere to QMS, HSE systems, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field). Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, with proven supervisory or people management background. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, modern production management, and mechanical processing/packaging equipment. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and handle production emergencies. Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, SA8000, and management concepts such as TQM and TPM. Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP/ERP systems. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
