Production Support Analyst

Investment Bank - Production Support - Market RiskA leading global investment bank is seeking a skilled Production Support Analyst to join its Market Risk Technology team in Dublin. This team plays a key role in ensuring stability, resilience, and operational efficiency across the bank’s Market Risk applications and infrastructure.You will be working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, managing user queries, batch processes, alerts, and production incidents. The role offers exposure to critical Market Risk systems and the opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams to maintain and enhance the operational performance of risk platforms.Responsibilities:Respond to and resolve business queries, production incidents, and feed/batch issues.Manage user query mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses.Monitor system health using tools such as ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, DynaTrace, and Splunk.Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams to implement resolutions.Manage incident escalations, notifications, and problem resolution.Maintain documentation and knowledge management materials.Assist with metrics reporting and business continuity testing.Identify opportunities to automate repetitive production tasks and improve efficiency.Key Requirements:5+ years’ experience in application production support.Strong SQL and UNIX/Linux knowledge.Experience with incident, problem, and change management (ITIL framework).Proficiency with monitoring tools such as ITRS, DynaTrace, Splunk, and scheduling tools like Autosys.Python scripting experience.Strong communication, project management, and multi-regional team collaboration skills.Desirable:Experience in financial services, particularly Market Risk.Familiarity with Agile methodology.Exposure to Windows OS operations.Experience with Tableau or other reporting/dashboard tools.
