We have an immediate opening for a Production Team Leader to join our Material Management team responsible for checking and receiving material for production orders of Supermicro products that meet product quality requirements and shipment deadlines. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a production team within kitting, assembly, or packingOrganize daily production activities to meet schedule and output goalsEnsure team members follow SOP and safety guidelinesTrain, coach and support team members to improve performance and maintain high qualityAssign tasks and monitor progress to ensure on time and accurate productionCommunicate effectively with supervisor and managers to resolve issues quickyPerform other assembly line duties, as directed by supervisorSupport continues improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivityFollow and implement 5S+1 cultureQualificationsHigh school or college diploma preferred1-3 years Team Leading experience in the electronic or computer industry preferredHands on experience in electronic assembly, experience sever or computer plusMust be able to read and understand assembly instructions, production orders and all other documentation used to control processes.Ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesStrong leadership and communication skillsStrong problem solving skills and attention to detailsStrong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughnessSolid communications skills both verbal and writtenProficient in English reading and writingEEO StatementSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
