The Production Trainee will report to the Senior Editor, BravesVision. This Trainee will work with the BravesVision team, the production arm of the Atlanta Braves, to edit videos, conduct shoots, gather b-roll and contribute in all areas of our content creation process as well as live event production. This highly creative person will bring ideas to the table and see them through the entire production process to completion. This position will also support non-baseball events in both Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Assist full-time production staff in daily operations of the Video Production DepartmentPerform production assistant duties for all areas of productionHands on training in broadcast and sports entertainment production, including live and pre-produced environmentsTRAINEE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: College graduate, Bachelor's or Master's, with a GPA of at least 3.0 at graduationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and within all levels of the companyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Customer service orientedExcellent executive presenceAbility to work long hours, weekends, and holidaysMust complete a background checkADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: College graduate with courses taken related to broadcast and television productionMust have knowledge in digital design including video editing and audio production to be able to tell a story through high end contentProduces shoots and edits video contentAbility to develop compelling multimedia packages thru the use of broadcast equipment such as DSLR cameras and Adobe Creative Cloud products (Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects)Experienced operating a variety of audio equipment, including boom mics, lavalier mics, etc. Ability to craft and write narrative video scripts and storyboard concepts for in-game videosMust have a passion for sports and multimedia storytellingA strong team player with a positive attitudePossesses a creative, organized, responsible, and collaborative mindset, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment while communicating progress. Ability to multi-task and work independentlyStrong work ethic and a willingness to learnAbility to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays; including all Braves home gamesAbility to lift 35-50lbs of equipment on a daily basis to perform job.
