The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Assesses patient needs and responses, applying sound nursing judgment for care management. Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses. Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care. Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards. Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), a current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Must have 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills. Adheres to confidentiality policies and regulations regarding sensitive information.
