Job Description

As a Program Lead within the Office of the President, the candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing high-impact, cross-cutting processes and initiatives that support the mission and vision of Children’s National, and will provide support to senior executives. The Program Lead will develop briefings and presentations, draft communications materials and products, and provide administrative support to senior leaders. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and engage with key stakeholders with poise and professionalism.

Examples Of Tasks And Responsibilities May IncludeDrafting briefings and presentations for the Office of the President and CEO. Drafting communications materials, such as remarks, talking points, and all-staff messages. Coordinating the flow of documents and information to and from the Office of the President and CEO, including managing deadlines, templates, and structure. Providing project management support to the Chief of Staff and Chief Strategy Officer, as needed. Providing staffing support for internal and external events. Supporting the administrative work of the Office of the President and CEO. Managing scheduling for the Chief of Staff and Chief Strategy Officer.

Responsible for leading the project activities of assigned program. Coordinates status reports as well as participating on teams and working with project staff and stakeholders to assure that requirements are incorporated within the project design. Assigns work to team members to assure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables as appropriate. Develops policies and procedures as appropriate. Identifies and escalate issues following departmental guidelines. Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree (Required) Or Relevant experience beyond the minimum required work experiencemay substitute for the educational requirement on a 1-to-1 ratio (i. e.

Serve as the liaison between CNHS and external stakeholders as neededManage program specific partnerships with various stakeholders including leadership at affiliated institutions. Communicate barriers, challenges and any other issues that affect progress. Budget and Financial ManagementMay be responsible for appropriate use of funds and resources. Prepare documentation and projections to support new programs and the budget planning process.

Monitor monthly performance reports and budget variances and resolve discrepancies as needed.
