Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.Posititon Profile: This is an opportunity to program-manage an emerging retrieval service hosted by the WA Country Health Service Command Centre (WACHS) within the State Health Operations Centre (SHOC). The retrieval service will deliver expert care to the states most critically unwell patients wherever they are. The immediate operational priority is to develop an interprofessional model to crew the Emergency Rescue Helicopter Service (ERHS) per the recommendations of Chief Health Officer's Inquiry into Aeromedical Services in Western Australia (2022). This is a unique opportunity for an experienced program manager with strong expertise in aeromedical and retrieval services, pre-hospital care, and complex program delivery.As Program Manager Aeromedical, you will coordinate the planning and development of multiple aeromedical and retrieval-related projects and programs, leading their implementation and integration across WA. The role will research, analyse, and interpret current and future service delivery requirements to deliver a program of works in collaboration with the Medical and Paramedicine Co-Leads, the WACHS Command Centre Transport Program team, and the Command Centre Executive. Your role will foster a collaborative healthcare environment.
