This pivotal role will lead the operational backbone of a large, integrated programme, bringing clarity, rigour and consistency to how we plan, deliver, and measure our work across multiple workstreams. You’ll partner closely with senior account leads and discipline heads, and the wider delivery team to assess current ways of working, identify gaps, and implement structures and processes that enable the team to operate efficiently at scale, without losing pace or creativity.What you’ll DoProgramme Leadership & CohesionProvide leadership to empower and facilitate cross-functional programme and project teams, defining objectives, ways of working, and delivery tactics. Ensure cohesion across creative, digital, influencer, paid media, and content teams, aligning activity to shared programme goals. Act as the central point of integration, balancing structure, collaboration and flexibility to ensure effective end-to-end delivery.Line management and development of 2-3 Senior Project Managers.Process, Governance & Ways of WorkingIn collaboration with the existing delivery function, develop and implement governance frameworks, RACI structures, and operational processes that bring clarity and accountability. Define and embed clear, consistent project workflows, approval processes, and cross-functional collaboration models. Evaluate current practices, identify inefficiencies, and lead change initiatives to improve delivery quality and pace.Programme Management & DeliveryOversee multi-workstream delivery, managing dependencies, timelines, and risk across internal teams and partner agencies. Support trade-off decisions between quality, cost, scope and time, while maintaining team motivation and alignment. Coordinate programme-level planning, milestones, and deliverables to ensure progress is visible and controlled.Reporting, Tools & Performance FrameworkBuild and maintain internal and client-facing reporting frameworks to track progress, KPIs and ROI across workstreams. Manage licences and usage of delivery tools and platforms, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Support the creation of dashboards and performance measurement frameworks that consolidate visibility of results and identify opportunities for optimisation.Scaling & Organisational GrowthSupport scale-up plans by developing repeatable onboarding, documentation, and delivery processes in collaboration with the Group Partner, Operations Director, and Finance Director. Shape hiring and onboarding frameworks to ensure smooth integration of new team members and partners in close collaboration with Operations, HR, and Finance. Foster a culture of operational excellence and proactive improvement across the team.Support the wider account and agency leadership team with any upsell proposals, driving efficient working practices and ensuring responses that are robust across operational areasStakeholder & Partner ManagementBuild strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, ensuring confidence in delivery and governance. Collaborate across any inter-agency team structures to define interfaces, swim lanes, communication protocols, and shared accountability.Risk & Issue ManagementIdentify, assess and mitigate programme risks, ensuring visibility and ownership across relevant workstreams. Establish escalation paths and contingency plans to address challenges early and effectively.About YouExperienced in programme leadership, ideally within a marketing, creative, digital, or media agency environment. Strong understanding of multi-workstream account structures and the operational nuances of web, content, search, and influencer delivery. Proven ability to design and implement fit-for-purpose processes that balance structure with creativity. Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative, with exceptional communication and influencing skills. Comfortable leading cross-functional teams, managing complexity, and driving organisational change. Experienced in managing tools, licences, and performance reporting frameworks. Ideally experienced in search and/or influencer marketing. Familiar with project management tools (e.g. Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira) and delivery governance frameworks. A recognised programme management qualification (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, MSP) or equivalent experience is desirable.The OpportunityThis is a pivotal role for a natural organiser and change leader who thrives in fast-moving, collaborative environments.
