About Community Mental Health DepartmentOur Community Resource, Engagement and Support (CREST) teams support clients who are at risk of or diagnosed with mental illness as well as their caregivers. The teams provide basic emotional support and monitoring of their mental health conditions through home visits and service linkages.ResponsibilitiesEngage and collaborate with stakeholders such as government agencies, grassroots, and community-based organizations to raise awareness of mental healthConduct mental health screening to identify those who are at-risk/diagnosed with mental health conditions and connect them with the right services for early diagnosis and treatmentProvide basic emotional and cognitive support to clients with mental health issues and/or their caregivers and link them up with relevant services based on their needsEnsure proper maintenance of case documentation and timely submission of reports to external partiesManage volunteers to support outreach events and conduct activities when necessaryEstablish and support the run of a caregiver support groupRequirementsDegree Holder preferably with minimum of 1 year of social service experiencePassionate to work in the mental health sector and community servicesProficient in Mandarin or dialects as the outreach talks are conducted in mandarinExcellent communication skills and interpersonal skillsA team player who can also work independentlyDetail-oriented in keeping proper documentationThis position is on a contract basisWork Location: Teck Whye / Seng KangWork Service AreaAng Mo Kio-Hougang, Hougang SMC & PunggolPaya Lebar & SerangoonBukit Panjang SMC, Cashew & ZhenghuaLimbang & Yew TeeBukit Timah, Clementi & Ulu PandanQueenstown, Buona VistaBrickland & Choa Chu Kang(If you have specific preference on the work service area, please indicate in the job application form)If you are interested to join us, please apply via Fei Yue Career Portal.For your privacy and security, kindly refrain from including your NRIC number in your application form or resume.
