Your new company An Irish tech company with international presence has a new headcount position available for a newly or recently qualified accountant who has experience in or would love to specialise in systems projects and financial planning & analysis. This company offers hybrid working 3 days in office and 2 days at home and with the rate of growth and change, your role will expand and will offer exciting new learnings and challenges as you progress.Your new role Joining a team of 5, this Project Accountant will report to the Head of Finance. Your duties will include responsibilities across the finance function but with a core focus on systems and FP&A long-term:Lead systems projects to enhance current ERP functionality across areas like consolidation, intercompany, coding and fx managementLead process improvements that will automate and streamline month end and management account packsBring in PowerBI to the finance function to enhance and simplify current reporting and insights, advising on other suitable tools for implementation over timeBuild a forecasting model to facilitate comprehensive scenario planning and KPI reportingAssist with audit readiness and compliance, including introducing SOP documentation to streamline processesAssist on ad-hoc projects such as acquisitions, integrations and resulting restructuring.What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a fully qualified accountant with 0-7 years' PQE (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ACA), ideally from an SME background in industry with strong technical capabiltiesPrevious systems/ERP project management experience - migrations, implementations, testing, mapping of workflows, process improvementPowerBI or other data analytic toolsFP&A experience - particularly in detailed forecasting and ideally financial modellingWhat you'll get in return You will be rewarded with a salary of up to €70,000 DOE plus benefits package and hybrid working in a central location.
