They are looking to add a Project Billing Specialist to their team.Salary/Hourly Rate$23/hr - $25/hrPosition OverviewThe Project Billing Specialist is responsible for preparing and submitting accurate invoices in line with internal schedules and client guidelines. This role involves resolving billing questions, reviewing project contracts to ensure proper setup, and working with cross-functional teams to gather the information needed for invoicing. The Project Billing Specialist also assembles complete invoice packages, including time entries, expenses, and required forms, while maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Responsibilities Of The Project Billing Specialist Communicate with project leads on billing changes and contract updates. Prepare and submit accurate invoices with required documentation. Upload invoices to client portals as needed. Follow internal approval processes before billing submission. Resolve billing issues and project discrepancies. Compile invoice packets with timesheets, expenses, and forms. Review contracts to ensure accurate billing setup. Verify project setup aligns with contract terms. Conduct billing reviews at project close. Support internal and external audits. Maintain organized billing records and schedules. Collaborate with teams to address invoicing variances. Ensure compliance with client billing terms. Assist with month-end close tasks. Track billing milestones and deadlines. Required Experience/Skills for the Project Billing Specialist: Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing. Experience working in Microsoft Excel. Experience managing multiple billing projects or programs concurrently. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Project Billing Specialist: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working in NetSuite or Salesforce is preferred. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree is preferred.
