This collaboration increases effectiveness, both in working in the target countries and in campaigns change to advocacy aimed at influencing the attitudes and policies of politicians and general public opinion and awareness in Europe. PIN currently is seeking energetic, disciplined, responsible applicants for the position of Project Coordinator for the specific project entitled "Recovery of Tigray region: sustainable livelihood through access to water and value chain development"Length of Contract: Definite until December 31/2027Place of Work: - Based in Mekelle, Tigray Region with frequent travel to PIN's project sites in different regions as required.Salary: 589 USDPosition OverviewThe Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager in the implementation of the Project. The position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day field activities, ensuring smooth collaboration with local authorities, partners, and communities, and ensuring timely delivery of project outputs in line with donor and PIN standards.Key Responsibilities2. Cross-cutting Issues Project Implementation and CoordinationCoordinate and supervise field-level implementation of all project activities under the guidance of the Project ManagerPrepare weekly and monthly work plans and ensure activities are executed according to planEnsure technical quality and compliance with project objectives, donor guidelines, and PIN standardsCoordinate logistics and procurement requests in collaboration with the project support teamFacilitate project launch, community mobilization, and training sessions at woreda and kebele levelsMaintain strong coordination with woreda and kebele-level government offices (Agriculture, Water, and Administration)Ensure active participation of target communities and partners in planning and implementationRepresent the project in local coordination meetings and provide updates to stakeholdersCollect and consolidate data from field activities in coordination with MEAL staffEnsure accurate and timely reporting on progress, challenges, and lessons learnedDocument case studies, best practices, and success stories from the fieldSupervise and support field officers and community facilitators in planning and implementationConduct regular performance follow-ups, mentoring, and on-the-job coachingPromote teamwork, accountability, and professional development among the field teamEnsure gender equality, environmental sustainability, and inclusion are mainstreamed in all activitiesPromote community feedback and response mechanisms (CFRM) and ensure issues are promptly addressedAccountability and Safeguarding including Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH)Carry out the duties in accordance with the PIN Code of Conduct and Key policiesParticipate in training and awareness raising (CoC and KP, Safeguarding...)Ensure that his/her team members attend training and awareness sessions and carry out the duties in accordance with PIN Code of Conduct and Key policies. Ensure that due diligence and/or capacity assessments of partners include an assessment of partners' implementation of key safeguarding and risk policies/ procedure including the prevention of SEAH.
