Project Cost Controller – DubaiHareket Project Transportation and Heavy Engineering Inc. is a leading international company providing heavy lifting, project transportation, and integrated engineering solutions since 1957. In line with our expanding global operations, we are seeking an experienced Project Cost Controller to join our Dubai office.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, update, and monitor project budgets throughout all phases of execution.Conduct detailed variance analyses between planned and actual costs, identifying root causes and corrective actions.Establish and maintain cost codes, ensuring all expenditures are tracked accurately and systematically.Develop and update project cash flow forecasts in coordination with finance and project teams.Assess the financial impact of change orders, variations, and additional scope items.Review supplier and subcontractor invoices for accuracy, compliance, and proper cost allocation.Prepare comprehensive cost reports and closing documentation at project completion.Report directly to the Regional Head of Finance and work in close collaboration with project management, procurement, sales and operations teams to ensure seamless data flow.Prepare and present regular management reports, KPIs, and project cost performance indicators.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in project cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting.Previous exposure to construction, energy, transportation, or engineering projects is highly desirable.Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (preferably IFS, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel.Strong analytical, planning, and reporting skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent command of English (both written and verbal); Arabic is an asset.A proactive team player with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.What We OfferOpportunity to work on large-scale international projects within a global organization.Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Professional growth and long-term career development opportunities within a dynamic and multicultural environment.📍 Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates📅 Employment Type: Full-time📈 Department: Finance / Project Control
