Project Director

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Director to lead and deliver complex construction projects. This role involves managing cost, programme, and quality while ensuring compliance and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to drive performance in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesManage project costs to achieve contribution targets.Ensure sub-contractor compliance and oversee preliminaries throughout the project.Develop tender-stage programmes, including Contract and Construction programmes.Complete and monitor Project Control System (PCS) requirements.Collaborate with pre-construction teams to finalize PCS prior to award.Drive value engineering across all design elements.Lead and inspire teams, including clients, consultants, and sub-contractors.Represent the organization externally to influence policy and supply chain strategies.Review contract amendments and manage variations, including EoT requirements.Oversee final accounts and ensure seamless project handover.Champion health and safety culture across all sites.Contribute to quality strategy and ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.Translate business strategy into actionable plans and deliver reports to senior leadership.Coach and develop team members to achieve their potential.RequirementsProven experience in project management within the construction sector.Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage budgets, programmes, and contractual obligations effectively.In-depth knowledge of health & safety, quality assurance, and compliance.Strategic thinker with hands-on approach to delivery.Call to ActionReady to take the next step in your career?
