Working in a highly technical and dynamic environment, they offer engineers the opportunity to contribute to challenging offshore transition projects that require precise planning, creative solutions and strong execution readiness.Role SummaryAs Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the technical work plans and ensuring the operational readiness of major offshore campaigns. You will translate project requirements into detailed procedures, coordinate multidisciplinary scopes and support both onshore preparations and offshore execution activities. This role suits an engineer who enjoys combining office-based engineering with practical field involvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop project work instructions and technical procedures for offshore and onshore activities.Produce lifting arrangements, structural sketches and basic engineering calculations for complex operations.Identify and outline the work packages for supporting teams (e.g., access work, steelwork, mechanical tasks, underwater tooling).Compile material lists, equipment requirements, task packages and readiness documentation.Attend yards, fabrication sites and vessels to verify preparations and report findings.Support pre-execution activities such as vessel readiness checks, equipment integration and deck layout planning.Liaise with contractors, suppliers and client representatives to clarify technical matters.Ensure that project documentation, safety requirements and technical standards are correctly followed.Keep engineering files, tracking sheets and project logs up to date.Assist the Project Manager by providing technical input to planning, risk assessments and progress monitoring.Required QualificationsA completed Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.A minimum of five years’ professional experience in engineering roles connected to offshore or marine operations.Demonstrated involvement in offshore activities, including heavy lifting work, structural handling tasks or marine construction projects.Capable of producing clear, structured engineering documents and converting technical concepts into practical instructions for use in the field.Proficiency with CAD tools for drawings and planning purposes (experience with AutoCAD is a strong advantage).Strong coordination abilities and clear communication skills when working with multiple project stakeholders.Willingness to travel offshore on occasion (typically 1–2 assignments per year, with trips lasting up to several weeks).Confident command of the English language, both spoken and written.Interested?If you would like to learn more about this opportunity or have any questions, feel free to contact Bilal el Kachouti on 06-28323519 or bilal@madisonpeople.com
