Project Engineer

Are you an experienced Project Engineer with experience of management and execution of projects throughout the full project life cycle from initiation to closeout?PM Group now has an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) department. The successful candidate will be based on our clients site in South Dublin.ResponsibilitiesSupport the management and execution of projects throughout project life cycle from initiation to closeoutSupport delivering small to medium sized projects in a complex manufacturing facility and a highly automated GMP production environmentReport to the Team Manager and responsible for supporting a diverse portfolio of projects with the capability to project manage small projects autonomouslyProject execution will focus on safety, schedule, and budget adherence while complying with good engineering practices, company policies, regulations, and codesSupport contractor/vendor management, project schedule management and schedule developmentRisk management and action plans to mitigate riskStrict adherence to safe working practices as set out in the safety statement and other company safety rulesControl and monitor the safe working practices of contractors while on siteUnderstanding of Environmental Health & Safety Requirements on a Pharmaceutical PlantQualificationsDegree in a relevant science/engineering discipline- Level 8 desirable5+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer with experience in a GMP production environmentDemonstrated capacity to effectively manage and execute small to medium sized projects from initiation to completionUnderstand project management process; programming, scope development, design development, implementation and project closeoutExcellent communication / organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership teamDemonstrable record of delivering right first time handover of documentation.Ability to work with end user on developing operating procedures, maintenance & calibration plansStrong computer MS Office skills (PP, Word, Excel, etc.)Strong understanding of the principles of Good Manufacturing PracticesWhy PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
