Pay Rate: $64.50/hour, depending on experienceContract Length: 10 Months Location: Calgary, AlbertaRaise is currently hiring a Project Expeditor on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of Canada’s most progressive Midstream companies in CanadaNote: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.DescriptionThe Project Expeditor in this role will be hands-on role responsible for the end-to-end expediting and timely delivery of materials and equipment for the organizations project. This role bridges the gap between the Supply Chain, Project Management, and external suppliers, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesExpeditingTrack and expedite the delivery of equipment and materials required for the NEBC project.Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and project teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery.Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and suppliers/logistics providers. Address and resolve any issues related to the delivery or quality of equipment and materials.Monitor and report on the status of equipment and material orders, including potential delays or issues.Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with project specifications, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure equipment and materials meet project specifications and standards upon delivery.Arrange for inspections and certifications as required.Support the project team with any additional tasks related to equipment and material logistics as needed.Purchasing supportSupport the Supply Chain project specialists with contract administration including document management, meeting minutes and drafting of contracts and amendmentsCreate purchase orders as requested by the Senior Specialists.Assists with the supplier qualification process.Validates and reconciles supplier invoice issues, and other payment documents as required.Qualifications5 years of experience in expediting, procurement, or logistics, preferably within the oil and gas industryExperience managing the supply chain for large, complex capital projects. The NEBC project is significant, requiring expertise in scale.Knowledge of complex logistics, especially shipping to remote or challenging sites in Western Canada (BC/Alberta).Experience with the entire life cycle of a Purchase Order (PO), including reading technical specifications, managing vendor data, and coordinating Quality Control (QC) documentation and material certifications.Expertise in with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Maximo).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking, reporting, pivot tables) and general fluency in the Microsoft Office Suite.Education and Skills Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Looking for meaningful work?
