IntroductionWe’re looking for a Project Lead Operations to help take our logistics, supply chain, and fulfillment processes to the next level.As Wellis grows rapidly, we’re scaling every part of our operation — from warehouse flows to supplier management and delivery reliability.In this role, you’ll be the right hand to our COO, driving key improvement projects across the operational chain. We’re opening our new office in Rotterdam this year, while our logistics and pharmacy operations are based in Hapert, North Brabant.About The RoleAs Project Lead Operations, you’ll look across the entire operational chain — from suppliers and purchasing to warehouse and fulfillment.You’ll act as the right-hand partner to the COO, leading cross-functional projects that drive operational excellence and long-term scalability.You’ll work closely with teams in Logistics, Pharmacy, and Supply Chain, as well as leadership and external partners.One day you’re analyzing order flows, the next you’re implementing a new system or designing a smarter fulfillment process. You’ll combine analytical thinking with hands-on execution and strong stakeholder management.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the COO’s right hand in driving cross-functional improvement projects across operations, logistics, and supply chain.Map current processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven improvements.Drive operational excellence through better structure, SOPs, and process ownership.Work with IT and systems to automate workflows and integrate new tools or partners.Lead change management initiatives and ensure adoption across teams.Translate insights from data into tangible business improvements and efficiency gains.Align priorities and progress directly with the COO and department leads.Ensure compliance, scalability, and efficiency across all operational workflows.International expansion projects, expanding our operations across Europe. A Week in the LifeMonday – Review weekly logistics KPIs and align with the COO on improvement priorities.Tuesday – Visit our logistics site in Hapert, meet with the Team Lead Logistics, and review warehouse workflows.Wednesday – Run a process mapping session with the Supply Chain and Purchasing teams to identify efficiency wins.Thursday – Present a progress update and recommendations to the leadership team.Friday – Wrap up your improvement sprint, finalize documentation, and celebrate another week of impact.Who You Are4–7 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain project management.Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and implement scalable systems.Experience with process optimization, Lean, or Six Sigma principles.Analytical and structured thinker, comfortable with data, KPIs, and dashboards.Hands-on, pragmatic, and adaptable — you thrive in a fast-scaling environment.Excellent communicator, able to bridge strategic goals with daily execution.Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).Available full-time, with regular presence at our Hapert location.What We OfferA key role as right hand to the COO, shaping the future of Wellis operations.Travel allowance and pension scheme.Hybrid working: mix of office, warehouse, and remote work.A culture that values autonomy, ownership, and continuous improvement.Growth opportunities toward Head of Operations or Program Management.Hiring ProcessIntro Call – with our Talent team.Interview – with the COO.Case Discussion – about a real-life operations challenge at Wellis.Final Conversation – with one of the founders.
