Project Leader (Mainframe)

As a Project Leader, you will play a central role in designing and leading complex IT projects. You will translate high-level business and customer needs into feasible functional solutions while ensuring compliance with technical standards, regulatory requirements, and security guidelines. You will guide your team throughout the project life-cycle, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and budget control.Responsibilities:Design functional solutions in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and IT teams.Build cross-domain expertise in banking operations, products, and services.Lead projects professionally, coordinating functional analysis, technical design, build, IT & business testing, deployment, and post-production support.Help the team overcome obstacles and ensure smooth project execution.Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to maintain overall alignment.Technical Knowledge:Mainframe: Cobol, JCL, DB2, MQCloud experience (Azure) or hybrid architecture is a plusFunctional Knowledge:General banking knowledgeExperience in payments or customer reference domain is an assetSoft Skills:Assertive, autonomous, critical thinkerDedicated, proactive, strong communicatorFlexible, good negotiator, stress-resistantTeam player, eager to learnFluent in English, Dutch and French
