We empower people to unlock their potential so they can empower industries and communities to thrive, supporting initiatives that cultivate a more sustainable future.About the RoleProject LeaderThe Project Leader for New Product Development (NPD) leads cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products from idea concept to launch-to-market ensuring delivery meets customer needs and are aligned with strategic business goals. The PM will be responsible for managing plan to bring new products into the market. ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and facilitate project meetings that are cross functional and sometimes cross organizational in nature to drive actions and decision making.Must have strong interpersonal skills capable of working with a diverse group of peopleIdentify and help manage risks, conflicts and barriers to project success.Incorporate project management tools that drive scope focus, team accountability, deliverables, timelines, implementation, and effectiveness checksManage projects with direct supervisionIdentify deliverables and inter-dependencies associated with projectsRoutinely challenge the status quo to drive optimization and efficienciesIdentify and engage appropriate stakeholders to establish well-rounded and represented project teams, including but not limited to Process Development, Quality, Procurement, Regulatory, Finance, and R&D.Support the incorporation of financial and resource allocation aspects into project plansIdentify project issues or resource gaps and facilitate resolutionsEnsure project team activities and decisions are clearly communicated, documented, and archived, act as primary contact for project team related informationRepresent the company with external partners vendors, including contributing to contract development (if applicable). QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical discipline Project Management (PMBOK, Waterfall) knowledge including concepts of scheduling, planning, risk mitigation, financial analysis, etc.Demonstrable Project Management experience.Experience handling large New Product Development or Product Engineering equivalent projects scopes while driving internal and external team members. PMP certification (preferable). Ability to communicate effectively with executive level teams.Knowledge of NPD processes, including stage-gate, agile or hybrid approaches.
