To find out more visit www.lenovo.com, and read about the latest news via our StoryHub.Employer:Lenovo Enterprise Solutions LLCWork location:Akihabara UDX (Tokyo); (3 onsite and 2 remote days in a week could be applicable)Smoking:Not allowed in the office, but smoking room is available in 5th floor of Akihabara UDXEmployment condition:Permanent Staff (Probation period: 6 months)Expected salary:Depending on the current salary and experience, we would make our decisionOvertime allowance:Not applicableWorking hours:9:00-17:45 (Rest time: 1 hour (12:00-13:00))Holidays:Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, year-end holiday, established anniversary day, special holiday, and compensatory holidaySocial insurance and benefits: Comprised of Pension, Health, Unemployment and Worker's Accident Compensation, Defined-contribution pension, property accumulation savings, Lenovo employee group life insurance, etc.Job DescriptionExperience in delivering large IT infrastructure projects end to endLead technical project teams in the delivery of consulting service offeringsFinal accountability for editing and sign off on project deliverablesPrepare details project plan, WBS, time sheet, GANT chart, etc as needed.Presentation of deliverables to client executive managementTechnology thought leader and evangelistMaintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the current and anticipated future state of the IT infrastructure marketplace including IT infrastructure trends, technologies, and standardsCoordinate internal resources/stakeholders, third parties/vendors as well as interfacing customer for the flawless execution of large solution projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders (internal and external) and ensuring technical feasibilityEnsure resource availability and allocationDevelop a detailed project plan to track progressUse appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costsMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededManage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders (internal or partner)Build personal relationships with Sales SMEs and C-Level customers to ensure early engagement in customers’ problem-and-solution determination processEnsure that customer expectations are appropriately set and managedPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain weekly project tracking meetings with subcontracted vendors in the regions.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentationAchieve customer delight and loyalty, and upsell additional solutions and servicesSupport the overall Services growth target in assigned geography.Basic QualificationsGreat educational background and experience, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managersProven working experience in project management and solution consulting, in the information technology sectorSolid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in IT infrastructure projectsResults oriented individual with high degree of autonomy and pro-active mentalityExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficePMP is desirable but not mandatoryDemonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project deliveryProven experience in technical consulting rolesStrong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversityProven team player and team builderLanguage requirement: Japanese and English Communication skillsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
