RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time, direct-hire, hybrid (Open to remote out of state candidates) assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive compensation package including benefits, vacation, and holidays.Overview of YOUR role as a Project ManagerAs a Project Manager, YOU will play a key role in overseeing power infrastructure projects—primarily substation and transmission work supporting large-scale data centers. This is a dynamic, client-facing role that requires a driven, self-starting professional who thrives in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.As a Project Manager, YOU will:Manage and support power delivery projects focused on substation and transmission (distribution experience considered secondary).Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure project delivery meets client expectations.Attend and lead internal and external meetings; prepare and present project updates and presentations.Regularly interact with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth project execution (not responsible for generating new business).Adapt to a changing day-to-day environment—no two days will look the same.Visit project sites as needed; travel may include 3–4 days per month for remote candidates (expenses paid).YOU are the ideal Project Manager candidate if you have:5–10 years of experience managing power delivery projects, with a focus on substation or transmission.Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines with professionalism and polish.Strong communication and client interaction skills, with a results-oriented and solutions-driven mindset.A proactive person, motivated by progress and completion, not content to sit back.Excellent organizational and presentation abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.The ability to thrive in a hybrid environment, typically working 2–3 days per week in office (7 a.m.–4 p.m. schedule).It’s a BONUS if you have:Experience supporting data center clients or other fast-paced, high-demand environments.Prior experience in a seller/doer type role managing client relationships. Strong understanding of the power delivery lifecycle and collaboration between engineering and construction teams.About Our Client:This Phoenix-based consulting firm offers full-service civil engineering and design support across public and private sectors.
