Our expertise spans solar, wind, hydropower, thermal energy, waste-to-energy and bioenergy, battery storage, network distribution, and systems and automation.What You’ll DoAs a Project Manager, you will lead, manage, and provide technical excellence in delivering due diligence, Lender’s Engineer, and Owner’s Engineer services across the development and construction phases of renewable projects / utility-scale wind farms. Your responsibilities will include:Drafting and negotiating specifications and technical schedules for contractsAssessing EPC tenders and participating in negotiationsLeading technical due diligence for renewable energy projectsConducting design reviews (if an engineer)Managing projects and overseeing deliveryPerforming site inspections, construction compliance, and progress monitoringReviewing and certifying contractor payment claimsWriting and reviewing high-quality technical reportsBuilding and maintaining a strong internal network across disciplines and regionsSupporting team development through leadership, mentoring, and trainingContributing to business development, including bid leadership, client engagement, and conference presentationsBuilding trusted advisor relationships with key clientsLeading and preparing successful multidisciplinary bids and proposalsAbout YouTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will BringA degree in Renewable Energy or Engineering, with proven experience delivering projects in the power & energy sector.Civil engineering experience with site-based roles and/or contract administration/superintendent responsibilities (advantageous)A solid understanding of renewable energy project development and constructionExperience working on or supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects in AustraliaStrong skills in reviewing and preparing technical reports and specificationsDemonstrated due diligence experience in project management, reporting, and technical reviewExperience as a contract certifier, superintendent, or principal’s representative (advantageous)Familiarity with construction and O&M contractsA background in professional services consultingExcellent communication skills, including high-quality written deliverables for clientsExperience conducting wind farm or construction site inspections for compliance, progress monitoring, and milestone certificationThe ability to translate technical concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholdersOur Offer At WSP, You’ll Find The Scale And Resources To Do The Kind Of Work The World Needs—while Feeling Supported, Heard, And Empowered To Grow Your Career.
