Clients appreciate this honest approach, and it means our team only works on projects with genuine impact. We are seeking a Project Manager to lead software projects using agile methodologies. This role will manage cross-functional teams (developers, designers, business analysts, product strategists) and serve as the primary contact for clients and their product owners. You'll establish strong project management fundamentals that keep timelines on track and stakeholders aligned across our capacity-based delivery model. Key Responsibilities Lead software project delivery from initiation through completion - managing scope, schedule, and budget to meet client and business objectives. Facilitate sprint ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, refinements, retrospectives) and stakeholder reviews to maintain rhythm, transparency, and accountability. Design and implement structured communication plans (including recurring status updates, risk logs, and stakeholder dashboards) to ensure clarity across teams, clients, and leadership. Serve as the primary client contact, providing transparent progress updates and ensuring alignment between business intent and technical delivery. Monitor team capacity and resource allocation. Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers, escalating as needed to maintain delivery momentum. Translate technical progress and risks into clear business value narratives, enabling informed stakeholder decisions. Define and track KPIs and success metrics tied to business outcomes, not just deliverables. Foster collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous improvement within and across delivery teams. Must-have Skills 3–5 years managing software projects in agile environments, with a proven record of on-time, in-scope delivery. Strong grasp of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).  Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Confluence, etc.).  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to synthesize technical progress into business insights.  Experience managing scope, schedule, and budget in multi-stakeholder delivery contexts.  Strong organizational discipline and analytical mindset, with a focus on KPIs, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization.  Adaptability and composure in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Nice-to-have Experience managing projects related to web applications and websites Exposure to AI/ML workflows and the software development lifecycle Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, PSM) Understanding of technical concepts (AI, software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity) What We Offer Health Insurance: 100% employer-paid Time Off: 3 weeks vacation + statutory holidays + 5 paid sick days Professional Development: Annual budget for certifications, courses, and conferences Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days/week in Toronto office, 2 days remote) Growth Path: Evolve into program manager role as we scale Project Variety: AI prototypes, web applications, digital experiences Torinit's Ethos Our guiding principles are the cornerstone of our success, shaping our dynamic environment where innovation, quality, and continuous growth are not just valued; they're celebrated.
