Senior Project ManagerPosition OverviewAs a Senior Project Manager, you will assume full ownership of projects from their initialconception and planning stages through to successful implementation and closure. Your primaryfocus will be to ensure that all projects are meticulously aligned with TELUS’ overarchingstrategic goals and objectives. You will be responsible for guiding projects through every phase,ensuring seamless coordination, effective communication, and proactive problem-solving.Key Responsibilities● Strategic Planning: Develop detailed project, budget, and capital expenditure plans.● Project Execution: Manage all project activities, ensuring timelines and budgets aremet.● Process Optimization: Enhance project management tools and systems, incorporatingITIL best practices.● Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive collaboration across Product, Operations,Customer Experience, and Finance teams.● Customer Journey Enhancement: Support initiatives to improve customer experience.● Change Management: Facilitate smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.● Risk and Financial Management: Proactively manage risks, issues, and budgetvariances.● Performance Reporting: Track progress and provide regular financial and statusreports.● Stakeholder Partnerships: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, includingFinance.What You Bring:● Proven project management experience, preferably in technology or managed services,with strong budget and capital management● Analytical skills to translate complex requirements into actionable plans, includingfinancial plans● Leadership ability to influence teams and manage stakeholders● Experience driving project implementation and change management● Business acumen to understand project context and deliver financial reports● Experience with ITIL framework● Excellent communication and organizational skills
