As the first national smart space installation and services company, we’re growing fast and are seeking a Project Manager for our San Carlos, California office.Why You’ll Love This RoleThe Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects and resources necessary to install and service products on multiple customer projects. The Project Manager will need to communicate with the lead technicians, programmers, service technicians, and the finance/accounting team. Organizing supplies and job documentation will be among the daily duties.What You'll Be Doing Conduct hand-off meetings with the Sales team to ensure customers’ expectations will be met.Coordinate with the job superintendent to establish job site regulations and communicate AV needs from other trades are met.Communicate all billable change orders to sales and engineering Review sales order, product list, and scope of work prior to any resources being allocatedSchedule and deploy resources to complete projects.Coordinate with the Purchase Manager to ensure the timely arrival of materials requiredMeet with subcontractors to ensure they understand their role in the projectResponsible for all aspects of on-site installation of AV systemsAdherence to project timeline and expectationsReview & react to daily updates to project documentation and work orders in job management softwareAccurate time clock entries and job costingMake decisions and be held accountable to Time and MaterialsClient training and transition to the service departmentConduct quality checks and enforce company standardsLocal travel to job sites as neededProvide training or communication to disseminate pertinent information as requiredFiscal responsibility for all assets & property assignedCustomer service, including the ability to work with high-profile and high-demand customersGuardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home securityAdherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic laws What You Have DonePrevious project management experience Examples of large project completion Previous experience standing or stooping for extended periods of time What You Bring To The TeamHigher education and certifications on systems, including audio, video, security, lighting, motorized shades, and home automationAbility to read house plansBasic computer skills with the ability to become competent and independent with in-house job management softwareStrong attention to detail, particularly regarding key component placement and system wiring Flexibility to meet customer demand outside of normal working hours Ability to work in tight spaces and at ladder height Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a criminal background checkCompensation & Benefits401kDental, vision, and health insurance Paid Time OffRetirement plansOur Mission and CultureMission: Enhance the human experience through smart spacesVision: Become the most beloved brand in technology servicesOur Core Values Guide Everything We DoDelight: Deliver magical client experiences Accountability: Own your work with transparency and integrity Innovation: Embrace creativity to solve challenges Service: Put clients, teammates, and partners first You: Celebrate diverse backgrounds and perspectives Additional InformationWe maintain a smoke-, drug, and alcohol-free workplace on-site and when representing Daisy.
