Job Title: Project Manager – Commvault Support TeamRole Overview:We are seeking a proactive and technically inclined Project Manager to lead and coordinate initiatives within the Commvault Support Team. The PM will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing cross-functional projects, and ensuring timely delivery of support enhancements and customer satisfaction initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Lead planning, execution, and delivery of IT Tech support across Commvault backup and recovery products.Collaborate with technical support engineers to identify process gaps and implement improvements.Track and report KPIs related to case resolution, customer satisfaction, and SLA adherence.Coordinate with engineering and product teams for escalations, bug tracking, and feature requests.Facilitate root cause analysis reviews and ensure documentation of learnings.Manage resource allocation, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.Support beta testing coordination and feedback loops with support and product teams.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in backup operations, DR planning, and customer engagement.Maintain alignment with compliance, audit, and data protection standards.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.4+ years of experience in project management within technical support.Strong understanding of backup and recovery technologies.Proven experience in stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, and reporting.PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.Proficiency in Mandarin and English language (spoken and written) is highly desired, Japanese good to have.Desired Skills:Familiarity with Commvault Suite and other backup tools (Veeam, Veritas, NetBackup).Technical understanding of Windows/Linux servers, VMware/Hyper-V, and networking.Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
