Project Manager Skills Required: Agile Way of Working, Project Management, Capital Markets and Financial Services Job Description: Job Description Global Functions Technology (GFT) is part of RBCs Technology and Operations division. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration. We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager with proven program delivery experience to join the US CUSO team in Finance and Audit IT. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of program delivery develop and manage the detailed schedule, identify early warning indicators, provide direction for early resolution of risks, issues and clear escalation path for program committees. What will you do: Assist with the execution of MRAMRIA regulatory programs, ensuring alignment with project plans and timelines across multiple applications and teams. Manage portfolio communications including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, project team, etc. Provide senior management with timely updates on portfolio milestones, issues and risks. Prepare status updates and executive-level materials for FIAT governance forums and senior leadership meetings. Establish program-level metrics, KPIs, and success criteria to measure remediation progress and sustainability beyond project closure. Champion change management and adoption strategies, ensuring impacted stakeholders across business lines are engaged and prepared for regulatory requirements. Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration and communication to address project dependencies and resolve impediments. Work with Business Technology Owners to ensure that the deliverables achieve a business result that enables value creation, setting up appropriate governance and oversight of all projects. Monitor project milestones and escalate risks and issues to program managers and leadership as needed. Work with Project Managers and Resource Managers to determine project milestones and holds Project Managers accountable to delivery commitments. Raise and track issues and conflicts, resolves project issues, and escalates to immediate manager when required. Maintain project plans, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies), and ensure accurate status tracking and reporting. Support estimation efforts, financial tracking, and preparation of PAR submissions. Track resource allocations and ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines. Ensure compliance with RBC procedures and processes throughout the project life cycle. What do you need to succeed Must-have: Undergraduate degree with 7 years of experience in project management or related roles, preferably in IT or financial services.
