Job Description

We are looking for our client, a leading European construction company, a Project Manager.Objectives· Delivering impactful energy infrastructure.· Drive the development of a cutting-edge cogeneration (CHP) plant.Responsibilities· Work with developers, designers and subcontractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s).· Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome. This is to be within agreed budget requirements and required profit margins.· Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project· Ensure full compliance of the contract and project management policies and procedures.· Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) end to end. Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, subcontractor management and site manager duties.· Ensures to follow the schedule of the phases of the project.· Engage with subcontractors under the correct commercial terms.· Define the project plan and programmed to deliver the works.· Be in attendance on site for the works inclusive of any out of hour's requirements.· Set up the QHSE processes and make sure they are monitored.· Ensure all variations to the works are captured, costed and claimed for.· Make sure all O&M manuals are complete and available prior to practical completion.· Close out all final accounts with both the customer and all those in the supply chain.QualificationsSkills· Strong influencing and negotiation skills· Ability to understand commercial and financial metrics· Internal and external customer management· Networking skills· Ability to deliver to deadlinesKnowledge· Up to date knowledge of the construction market· Fully competent with Project Management methodology· Broad understanding of construction Health and Safety law and legislationExperience· Minimum of 5 years proven Project Management experience in industrial projects· Demonstrable evidence of having managed a team.· Previous experience of operating at senior level (Desirable)· Recognized technical qualification in construction,· Recognized qualification in Project ManagementWhat our client is offering· Health insurance· Car· Fuel allowance· Meal tickets· Access to highly skilled experts to bring you the latest in learning and development with training in leadership, technical and personal development.· A flexible working environment.· A competitive remuneration and attractive benefits.· Opportunity to work with Top Clients on important projects;· Continuous learning and improvement activities;· Dynamic, international working environment.Equal Opportunity EmployerRSight® is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
