Project Coordinator – Small Works / Interiors (Service Division)Full-Time | 40 hrs/week | Hybrid | GTA Travel RequiredAbout the CompanyA fast-growing design–build firm is redefining how commercial interiors and workplace projects get delivered. You’ll be joining a high-performing team that’s modernizing the commercial construction experience and making great spaces more accessible.The RoleWe’re hiring a Project Coordinator to support a newly formed small-works / service line focused on day-2, churn, refresh, and light interior projects.Think: small in scope, fast in cycle time, high in impact.You’ll manage multiple small projects end-to-end with the autonomy of a Project Manager—owning scope, pricing, scheduling, permits, trade coordination, site execution, budgeting, close-out, and warranty.Typical project categories include:Tenant churn / office movesSuite refreshes (paint, flooring, lighting)Minor MEP / sprinkler relocationsDoor & hardware replacementsSmall millwork or signage jobsMake-readies for new tenantsLight base-building tweaksWhat You’ll OwnScope & PricingConduct site walks, develop scopes, perform take-offsPrepare quick-turn budgets, ROMs, and formal quotesValidate assumptions with trades and property operationsScheduling & PermitsBuild short-interval schedulesCoordinate access, shutdowns, night/weekend workFacilitate permit applications as requiredTrade Buy-Out & ProcurementSource quotes, level bids, recommend awardsIssue POs and confirm lead timesExecution OversightRun kickoff meetingsTrack daily progress and resolve site issues in real timeManage changes and maintain safety, quality, and cleanlinessFinancial ControlMaintain budgets, review invoicesManage change ordersProtect margin through clear scope definition and timely approvalsClose-Out & WarrantyDrive punchlists to completionCollect O&M manuals and as-builtsObtain sign-offs and handoversRespond to warranty/service tickets and dispatch tradesWhat Success Looks LikeFast cycle times: Quotes, mobilization, and close-out completed within service SLAsClean financials: Budget adherence and properly executed change ordersZero rework: High-quality handovers and site complianceClient satisfaction: Clear, proactive communication leading to repeat workWho You Are3–6+ years in ICI interiors, service work, or special projects (GC experience ideal)Comfortable running multiple small jobs concurrentlyStrong with drawings, take-offs, estimating fundamentals, and short-interval schedulesSkilled in trade/vendor coordination, invoicing, RFIs/submittals, and close-out packagesProficient with MS Office; experience with Procore or similar PM software is an assetA proactive communicator who keeps all stakeholders alignedValid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for GTA site travelWork Model & BenefitsHybrid work environment (office + field + optional home)Travel to GTA project sites (mileage/transit reimbursed)Competitive total compensationExtended health, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid vacationReimbursement for approved out-of-pocket project expensesEligibility for discretionary bonuses
