Senior Estimator – Interior RenovationsLocation: Toronto, ONSalary: $130,000–$150,000 + benefits (DOE)We’re seeking a Senior Estimator to lead pricing and pre-construction for large-scale interior renovation projects ($10M–$20M) in the Greater Toronto Area. You’ll own the full estimating process, partner closely with operations and clients, and help win and deliver profitable, well-planned projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of detailed estimates for interior renovation projects from concept through to final tender.Review drawings, specs, and addenda; identify scope gaps, risks, and opportunities.Develop trade packages, solicit and level subcontractor and supplier quotations.Prepare quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for all divisions (architectural, structural, MEP, finishes, etc.).Participate in bid strategy, value engineering, and pre-construction meetings with internal teams and clients.Support contract negotiations and handover to project management teams.Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes.What You Bring7+ years of estimating experience in commercial/ICI interior renovation or fit-out projects.Proven track record pricing projects in the $10M–$20M range.Strong knowledge of GTA subcontractor market and trade coverage.Proficiency with estimating and take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift/On-Screen Takeoff) and advanced Excel skills.Solid understanding of various delivery models (lump sum, construction management, design-build).Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience).Strong communication, negotiation, and time-management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
