This Positionwill have proficient knowledge of prototyping processes in order tounderstand client expectations and coordinate work within severaldepartments. The ability to develop strong relationships, communicateeffectively, and keep work organized will be crucial for success. Thisposition will operate in a fast paced, demanding, yet rewardingenvironment.
Essential Functions Serve as clients\' main point ofcontact for prototyping and production needs via email, phone, videoconference and/or in person Research, question, and understand customerneeds to determine project achievability Recommend best combination ofmaterials and processes based on project, budget, and timeframerequirements Prepare quotes by studying 2D prints, CAD files, and otherdocumentation; consult with technical personnel to confirm quotespecifications as needed Be proficient in all locations capabilities toprovide clients with the best possible solutions.
Utilize effectivepricing strategies to meet company revenue and profitability goalsManage client timeframes in conjunction with the production schedulesMonitor manufacturing progress, identify the need for issue escalation,recommend alternative solutions Verify completed projects againstpredetermined quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction Maintaininternal systems and project documentation in an organized, electronicmanner Evaluate third party vendors and coordinate outsourcing needsMaintain strong business relationships with key decision makers andinfluencers within assigned accounts; use networking skills to growcontact portfolio within assigned accounts Arrange client visits on oroff site as needed to present company services and capabilities andsecure business opportunities.
