Company DescriptionOur client, AGUAS DE VALENCIA International Division, a top-tier Spanish group operating in the infrastructure sector and facilities linked to the full water cycle, is seeking to incorporate into a project in Qatar a: TECHNICAL MANAGERRole Description & Qualifications: The selected candidate will be integrated into the company’s structure in Qatar as a Department Director, responsible for coordinating the operation and maintenance of gravity and pressurized networks together with stormwater systems, as well as coordinating all technical activities required under the awarded contract. To achieve this, they will rely on the necessary human and material resources, both at the project’s operational area and from the company’s headquarters in Spain.Among other responsibilities, they will be in charge of providing leadership and support to ensure compliance with current specifications and regulations, leading the implementation of digital tools and innovation to improve the reliability of networks and treatment plants, maintaining and supervising technical standards, systems and robust processes, as well as supporting energy optimization initiatives and sustainability objectives. All with the purpose of ensuring the fulfillment of KPIs, SLAs, and any other matters affecting the proper development and execution of the contract.The position is aimed at a professional with more than 15 years of experience in O&M and/or EPC contracts and companies and/or engineering consultancies, in management and/or coordination roles, preferably related to municipal and industrial water or wastewater treatment, and holding an Engineering degree (Civil or Industrial). High level fluency in English, with knowledge of Spanish and Arabic considered an advantage. Previous experience working in the Middle East region will also be valued. Experience in the study, design, and execution of innovative solutions and projects for plants, pumping stations, and wastewater, stormwater, and treated water networks is required, as well as preparing monthly monitoring reports and certification of works performed.
