Senior Program Specialist

Job DescriptionOverall responsibility for executing smart cities projects as well as ELV projectsMain contact for day-to-day activities with all project stakeholdersStrong smart city and IOT knowledge dealing with smart city platforms and its integrations.Strong knowledge of Security, BMS, FAS and preferable other ELV systems and integrationsEarly engagement with Sales/Estimation team during offering/bidding stages as well handing over process from Sales/estimation teamDevelop detailed project management plan with its respective domains (Scope, time, cost, etc.)Execute and deliver projects following best in class methodologies and practices.Deliver project on time, within scope with zero or positive marginal improvement.Manage changes in scope, time or cost through adding variation orders. Preferable ability to have knowledge about contract and types and communicate with Contract Teams Liaise internal communication with resources and vendors.Develop procurement plan as part of the project management planIdentify risks and develop adequate risk response/mitigation plan.Track and monitor projects performance with defined KPIs in project plans. Monitor monthly projects financial performance measures including revenue recognition, margins, invoicing and cash collection.Manage HSE related project activities in coordination with HSE department.Job Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field.Experience: 10+ years of project management experience with experience in smart cities, IOT, Software integrations and ELV systems.Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.Skills: Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills. In addition, ability to handle high-pressure situations and deadlines. Technical skills: Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices including knowledge of MS Office. Communication skills: Ability to use the right language, terminology, and idioms to pass across their message. The candidate must speak English & Arabic fluently.Budget management: Ability to allocate a budget towards resources, tools, and people involved.
