To support this growth and enhance our ability to attract and support excellent students, we are seeking a dedicated Scholarship Project Officer. This role is crucial in managing and expanding our scholarship programs, ensuring the effective administration of external funds, and maintaining the University's reputation for excellence:Administrative follow up: Handle administrative tasks related to academic scholarships and awards, including case follow-up, documentation, reporting, and financial managementCommittee Organization: Coordinate the formation and operation of committees responsible for selecting scholarship recipientsDeadline Management: Manage and monitor relevant deadlines to ensure effective coordination between various timelines in the context of national, European, and international student recruitment, as well as the requirements of different funding accountsProject Development: Design, develop, and implement student-recruitment-related projects in close collaboration with FSTM’s communication office and other relevant servicesProcess Improvement: Implement and improve processes for scholarship management, contributing to the development of existing UL-level electronic means and developing FSTM-level tools to ensure a lean and transparent operationTraining and Support: Provide necessary training and support to staff and partners involved in scholarship programsFellowship Administration: Handle administrative tasks for doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships, including translating call/offer details into institutional needs and implementing steps to formalize contractsCommunication: Ensure appropriate communication on established scholarships and successful graduates in collaboration with the FSTM communication teamFundraising : Liaise with the University's fundraising office to support the administration of scholarship donations, donor stewardship efforts, and recognition plans that reflect donor intentInternational relations: Liaise with the University’s International Relations Office or in general with central services related to scholarshipsYour profileEducation: Master's degree in a relevant field; e.g., Education Management, Business Administration, International Relations or equivalent experienceExperience: Proven experience in managing scholarships, grants, or similar funding programsSkills: Strong organizational, communication, and project handling skillsLanguages: Proficiency in English and French; knowledge of German and Luxembourgish is an assetWe offerMultilingual and international character.
