Project Planner (3&1 Rotation)

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our team, working on a 3&1 or 10&4 rotation on major Data Centre projects across Europe. Initially working on a project in Frankfurt, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules throughout the full lifecycle from preconstruction to final completion. The role requires strong planning expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive progress across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.About UsMTM Engineering is a market leading specialist electrical contractor that provides medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) cable installation, termination services, busbar, and containment solutions for a wide range of construction projects. Our expertise spans industry sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation, critical infrastructure, and more.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, integrating scope, milestones, and resource allocationsMonitor project progress against baseline schedules, identifying and addressing risks and delays proactivelyCollaborate with site teams through regular site visits to gather real-time updates and support accurate planningLead planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders to align project timelines with progress on the groundRecommend adjustments to sequencing and resource deployment to improve project efficiency and milestone achievementIncorporate scope changes and variations into project schedules in coordination with commercial and delivery teamsGenerate and distribute clear and accurate progress reports to site leadership and senior managementSupport risk mitigation strategies by identifying schedule impacts and developing corrective action plansAssist in the development of short-term lookahead programmes to drive site-based activitiesMaintain planning data, records, and documentation in line with company and project requirementsEssential RequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferredProven expertise in Primavera P6 is essentialMinimum 3 years’ experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale projectsPrevious experience on Data Centre projects is highly desirableStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project data and communicate clearlyEffective stakeholder management with a collaborative, team-oriented approachFluent in English, both written and spoken (minimum C2 level)EU citizenship or the ability to travel freely within the EUMTM Engineering is an equal opportunities employer.
