Project Procurement Specialist

You will be embedded within a dedicated project team, acting as the key interface between the project office, engineering, and the global supply chain. Your expertise will ensure that all required units are acquired on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards required for space flight.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full end-to-end procurement cycle for a major space project.Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans that align with project timelines and objectives.Identify, qualify, and onboard new high-technology suppliers for critical components.Conduct robust negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.Ensure strict compliance with all internal and external procurement procedures and policies.Maintain clear, transparent reporting on procurement status, issues, and deliverables to the project leadership.Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to support component needs during the design and proposal phases.Who We're Looking For...The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and has a proven track record in sourcing complex, technical products.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a strong preference for experience within the aerospace, defence, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvement.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams (Project Office, Engineering, Finance).A proactive, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple priorities simultaneously.If you are ready to apply your procurement expertise to components that will literally travel to space, we want to hear from you.
