Are you ready to be a member of our talented and motivated team and bring your best every day?The team is growing, and we are currently looking to hire a Lead, Project Risk Management.What I will be doing:The Lead Project Risk Management role involves developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies across projects to safeguard organizational objectives. This role requires leading risk workshops, establishing risk frameworks, and integrating risk analysis with project planning, scheduling, and cost control activities. The Lead will provide expert guidance on risk mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with corporate standards, and act as a trusted advisor to senior management and stakeholders.Strategic Risk ManagementDevelop organizational risk management policies, procedures, and tools.Establish a risk governance framework aligned with corporate objectives.Risk IntegrationEnsure seamless integration of risk management processes with cost control, scheduling, and performance monitoring functions.Analyze interdependencies between risks and their impact on project outcomes.Oversight and ReportingMonitor and evaluate project risk registers to ensure accuracy and completeness.Prepare high-level risk dashboards and reports for senior management and stakeholders.Stakeholder EngagementLead discussions with project teams and external stakeholders to address risk-related concerns.Communicate risk-related insights and recommendations effectively to all levels of the organization.Job Specific Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise-wide risk management framework tailored to project requirements.Define, monitor, and continuously improve risk management policies, procedures, and standards to align with international best practices (e.g., ISO 31000, PMI's Risk Management framework).Lead the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks across the project lifecycle, ensuring that risk registers are consistently maintained and updated.Facilitate risk workshops with stakeholders to identify project-specific risks, develop mitigation strategies, and allocate ownership for risk response actions.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation plans, escalating critical issues to senior management as required.Integrate risk data with cost control, scheduling, and performance management activities to provide holistic insights into project health.Develop and deliver training sessions to build risk awareness and capability across the organization.Provide strategic recommendations to mitigate systemic risks and enhance the organization’s overall risk resilience.Oversee the use of risk management software and tools for tracking and reporting.Manage a team of risk professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and professional development.What I should I have:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.10+ years of relevant working experience.Proven track record in management roles in complex engagements.Highly skilled user of QRA software (ex. @RISK, Safran, Deltek, PRA or equivalent)Knowledge in Power BI, TableauExcellent verbal and written communication skills.What will make me a distinctive candidate:Previous experience in the energy or distribution sector.Master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or equivalentCertifications: Certification from IRM, RMP, or equivalentProfessional Memberships: Membership in IRM, PMI or equivalentExperience in Water Projects.Can’t wait to meet the new valuable member in our high achieving team!!
