WILL YOU BE OUR PROJECT LEADER WHO BRINGS SITE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE?At LION, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager who ensures that our innovative fire simulation installations are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. In this role, you will coordinate the full project lifecycle — from planning to installation and handover — and make sure that our customers around the world can train safely and effectively for emergency response. This includes also site management work on our customers locations.Who are you?You are an experienced and organized professional who enjoys taking the lead. You thrive in a dynamic, international environment and know how to balance planning, technical insight, and people management. You are comfortable balancing between technology and coordination, and you can easily switch between difference disciplines. In this position you will be working with our technical support department, our suppliers and our customers on location. With your strong communication skills, you keep everyone aligned and ensure that projects run smoothly from start to finish.More about LIONLION develops and manufactures fire simulation installations for training purposes all over the world. These are used by fire departments, defense forces, emergency response organizations, and industrial companies, among others. We also sell PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), specializing in firefighting clothing. We are originally a family business, which still characterizes our corporate culture. Our parent company is also a family business that has been existing for over 126 years. From EMEA, we work with approximately 55 employees to ensure the success of LION.The departmentYou will be part of TotalCare™, the department that encompasses all service activities within LION: training, installation, service, and supervision. These activities take place both at our location in Tilburg and on site at the customer's premises. As Project Manager, you will coordinate cross-functional project teams and act as the key contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. You report directly to the TotalCare Director.What your work will look likeYou plan, execute, and complete projects within scope, budget, and timeline;You coordinate internal and external project teams, both remotely and on site;You maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners;You monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met;You oversee installation, commissioning (SAT), and final handover to our Service department;You ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement.You bringA completed HBO/WO education, preferably in a technical or engineering discipline;At least 5 years of experience in (international) project management;Experience with process installations (Mechanical / Technical / HVAC / Electrical / Software);Experience managing projects on site (site management);You are flexible and willing to travel abroad frequently/periodically.What does LION offer?A competitive employment package, including 40 days of annual leave;The Metalektro collective labor agreement applies;A meaningful and varied role with international exposure and travel opportunities;A professional onboarding program to help you quickly feel at home and perform confidently;The chance to work on projects that truly make a difference — enabling emergency responders to save lives.We are very curious about you.
