The organization's mission is to use these tools to create a more equitable and healthy society. Role DescriptionThis is an on-site role for a Nutritionist located in the Greater St. Louis area. The Nutritionist will be responsible for implementing our USDA Farm to School Grant in collaboration with our school partners.
They will develop nutritional programs and meal plans, conduct nutritional assessments, and provide individual and group counseling to students, parents, and staff members, utilizing a documented curriculum. The role also involves educating clients and communities on healthy eating habits and collaborating with other health professionals to improve overall community health outcomes.
QualificationsExperience in conducting nutritional assessments and developing meal plansSkills in providing individual and group nutritional counselingAbility to educate clients on healthy eating habits and nutritionStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with other health professionalsRegistered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or equivalent certificationBachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related fieldExperience in community nutrition is a plus
