We combine hospitality, design, and operational excellence to deliver high-performing properties and exceptional guest experiences.Position OverviewWe are looking for a Property Improvement & Project Engineer to coordinate small-scale renovations, enhancement projects, and development works across our villa portfolio. This role focuses on planning, design visualisation, contractor coordination, and project delivery — not hands-on maintenance.You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Director to translate ideas into detailed plans, ensure projects run smoothly, and uphold Praia’s brand and quality standards. This role offers a clear growth path toward a Project Manager position based on performance.Key Responsibilities1) Project Coordination & PlanningSupport planning and execution of renovation, construction, and improvement projectsCreate and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reportsCoordinate site visits, meetings, and contractor timelinesMonitor quality, safety, and compliance with engineering standards2) Design & VisualisationConvert concepts into 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD/SketchUp or similarPrepare technical layouts and detailed documentationLiaise with architects, designers, and consultants to refine proposalsEnsure materials and designs align with Praia’s brand standards3) Property Improvements & InspectionsOversee minor refurbishments and upgradesConduct site inspections and prepare improvement proposals with costingsIdentify opportunities to improve guest experience and functionality4) Vendor & Contractor CoordinationManage quotations, supplier relationships, and contractor schedulesMaintain database of vendors and service providersTrack delivery progress and report risks or variations5) Reporting & AdministrationMaintain organised project documentation (drawings, contracts, photos)Track budgets, invoices, and material orders with finance teamPrepare weekly reports and visual updates for managementSupport presentations with structured data and visualsQualifications & SkillsDiploma/Bachelor in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management1–3 years experience in construction coordination, development, or renovationsProficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Autodesk, or similar toolsStrong understanding of construction workflows, materials, and QCExcellent planning, coordination, and communication skillsDetail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projectsFluent in Bahasa Indonesia — English proficiency is a plusBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceAnnual performance bonusBPJS (health & social security)Paid annual leaveReal pipeline to become Project ManagerWork directly with senior leadership in a high-performance teamWho This Role Is ForA technically-minded professional who thinks in plans, visuals, and structure — someone who enjoys organising, coordinating, and improving spaces with purpose.
