Proposal Manager

Position Summary: The range of the Proposal Manager encompasses a full breadth of TEi product lines including Condenser, Feedwater Heaters, Moisture Separator Reheaters, Industrial Coolers, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers for Power & Process and Specialty Heat Exchangers. The Proposal Manager will be accountable for the development and implementation of proposal strategies to maximize opportunities, close sales and handover projects in a timely and efficient manner maximizing the ability for the execution team to meet the overall project objectives, margins, and deliverables. Essential Responsibilities: Reviews customer specifications and identifies pertinent commercial items. Develops/reviews proposal estimates and schedules. Evaluates and minimizes risk in accordance with company standards. Ensures proposal is compliant with RFP and other source documents. Modifies proposal in response to amendments, changes and management insight. Conforms contracts by negotiating final open items.Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited college is preferred. Engineering, Scheduling or Estimating experience. 3 years of Sales experience in Oil & Gas and/or Energy/ Power Industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Flexibility in schedule, initiative, willingness to learn, maintain effective and professional interaction with all levels. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize the deadlines. PMP Certification is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
